SPUNGE, Salehe Bembury's design project, develops a footwear vision that combines organic inspiration, material experimentation, and sports technology. Its proposals stand out for the manufacturing and coloring processes, which result in surfaces and finishes with their own identity.
SPUNGE Osmosis "Maca" opts for a beige tone palette that acquires particular nuances thanks to the artisan dyeing process. The combination of canvas, mesh, and rubber generates color variations depending on how each material absorbs the dye, while use and exposure progressively modify its appearance. SQUISH TECH technology incorporates an enveloping foam insole that provides cushioning and stability, accompanied by a durable sole prepared for different surfaces.
